Church Building Progress

Thought some people out there would be interested in seeing the progress of our new building that our church body will be meeting in. Our next goal is to get the septic done before the permit expires and to get the siding up while the weather is good. After that work on the interior can continue while the weather is less agreable to outside work :) We are meeting every other Saturday to work on it.

The Little Blue Engine that Could (after a long, long time)

What you see here is an engine out of a 1984 Nissan 720 4x4 pickup. This is a project that has been a long time in coming due to other projects needing to be done before winter. The engine is actually already in the truck so I'll have to get some pics of it installed to post here soon. Just one of the many projects that I have been working on and thought that some people would like to see what a blue engine looked like :)

vacation weekend

Our weekend started Saturday morning at 5:30 when Natalie and I got up. Our goal was to leave at 6:00 but ended up leaving at about 6:30. Natalie was scheduled to sing at Joel and Heather's wedding and we needed to be in seattle at the rehearsal at 1:00 in the afternoon. After getting lost a couple times trying to find the park that the wedding was in we finally made it albeit a little late. The rehearsal lasted until about 4PM and then we followed Dan and Debbie Peterson back to the hotel. Dan and Debbie grew up in that area of the state and knew their way around somewhat more than I. The wedding was beautiful the next day (sunday).

Corn maze

We went to the corn maze today and had a great time wandering around in the corn. Some suggested we should go home and watch "children of the corn" or "sixth sense" But we didn't because that would be silly:)

Here is our subject: A calm cute little puppy during her first few days as a part of our family. Innocent looking...yes but scheming right from the start.

May all beware of this innocent looking little black dog known as "Lucy" Aliases that she is also known as are: Lucy-Lu, Lucy Girl, Trouble, Pup-pup, Ushy (as Trinity Diviney calls her), Pupperoni, and Lucy Goosey. Public beware of this black dog Half Blacklab and Half German Shorthaired Pointer. Whatever you do- Do not acknowledge to her that she is a blogger this will only encourage this odd and slightly disturbing behavior in her. Thank you for your attention to this urgent and crucial report.
